About me

I’m an English teacher and poet based in Cambridge. I combine teaching in a secondary school with being a course tutor on the Cambridge PGCE English course, and writing poetry. In my spare time I love walking, and I’ve recently developed some reading and writing courses based around the beautiful Peak District village of Hathersage.

In the last couple of years I’ve had poems published in The North, Magma, The Fenland Reed, Under the Radar, Impossible Archetype and Ink, Sweat and Tears. This year I was longlisted in the National Poetry Competition and Highly Commended in the Bridport Prize, and I also had a couple of poems placed in the Guernsey Poems on the Move competition.
